ALERT
Service between Seattle and PDX has been suspended due to the fire at Centennial Mills facility near the north end of Union Station’s tracks. Buses have been sourced for most other trains between Seattle and Portland. Amtrak continues to source buses for the next few days. The Coast Starlight will detour through UP’s Albana Yard and connect back to the BNSF mainline near the Columbia River.
The tracks will remain closed indefinitely between Portland Union Station and Vancouver, WA. This situation is being closely monitored by BNSF, UP, and Amtrak. This could impact operations for the next few weeks.
Trains between Portland and Eugene are not impacted.
