A warehouse fire near the Portland station is restricting train traffic north until further notice. We’re so sorry for the disruption in your travel plans. Please call Amtrak at 800-USA-RAIL (1-800-872-7245) to learn about your options. Customers can rebook to another day at no additional charge or cancel for a full refund.
Trains between Portland and Eugene are running normally.
Trains are now bus rides:
- Buses are being substituted for the entire ride between Portland and Seattle, stopping at all stations. Trains that are currently buses are 502, 503, 504, 507, 508 and 509 (and 505 and 518 on Friday August 7).
- At this time, those traveling in and out of Portland and wishing to travel in Washington on trains 506, 517, 505, 518 will need to arrange to get to and from Vancouver, Washington themselves.
