Based on rider survey information indicating that one of the challenges of train travel was getting to and from the station, Amtrak Cascades partnered with Uber on a discount program providing vouchers for riders in Oregon. The initial pilot project started March 11 and ended September 30, 2025.   The initial program provided $10 discount vouchers for any Uber ride which originated or ended within .25 miles of any Oregon Amtrak train station.

In an effort to ensure the value of the program and to serve you even better in the future., we are asking our riders to take a few minutes to submit their feedback on the awareness and utilization of the program, the value of the Uber discount to you, and how we might adjust the program moving forward. Your input is very valuable to us.
