It’s summertime and that opens up a whole new list of must-see things in Oregon – especially when it comes to concerts and festivals. Here are some of our favorites, most within walking distance of our train stations.
From our train stations, there are plenty of last mile options in Oregon, including our Uber program to get you to your final destination allowing you to explore even more of Oregon and find those hidden gems.

OREGON BREWER’S FESTIVAL
The Oregon Brewers Festival once again joined with the Portland Rose Festival to showcase some of the region’s best craft beverages at the CityFair OBF Tap Takeover! 34 hand-selected beers and ciders—many making their debut at the fest—were on tap during all weekends of CityFair. Admission is included with CityFair tickets, and the purchase of a mug comes with a 12-ounce pour from the wide variety available. Visit the Portland Rose Festival website for advance tickets. JUNETEENTH OREGON PARADE & FESTIVAL
Lillis-Albina Park, Portland
June 21, 2025 -12 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Millions of people across America join the African American community in celebrating Juneteenth. In Portland, the day is honored with “The Clara Peoples Freedom Trail Parade '', down Martin Luther King Blvd and a public festival at Lillis-Albina Park on N. Russell and N. Flint. The festival will have guest speakers, stage performers, live music entertainment, vendors, exhibits, and children’s activities. Visit juneteenthor.com for more information.

ZOO NIGHTS
Oregon Zoo, Portland
June 20 – August 22, 5 p.m.–9 p.m.
Nothing says summer in Portland like a warm evening outdoors with good food and live entertainment. Over the course of 10 Friday's from June to August, the Oregon Zoo hosts local music, food carts, activities for all ages, and the chance to get to know some of the animals active during twilight hours. Food and snacks from local food trucks will be available, plus the ever-popular elephant ears, and selection of local beer and wine for adults. Every ticket purchased helps the Oregon Zoo connect our community to the wonder of wildlife to create a better future for all. FESTIVAL OF BALLOONS – TIGARD OREGON
Cook Family Park, Tigard
June 20-22, 2025, 5:45 a.m.– 11 p.m.
Head to the Tualatin Valley for a spectacular sight, as about 20 hot-air balloons launch in the pre-dawn hours (weather and pilot permitting). Bring the family for afternoon shopping at craft and vendor booths, food from local vendors, carnival rides and games as well as a night-time event and beer garden. OREGON BACH FESTIVAL
Eugene
June 27 – July 13, 2025
The annual Grammy Award-winning Oregon Bach Festival offers 30+ music events, and runs for two weeks every summer. International musicians and vocalists perform legendary orchestral and vocal concerts. The event also features guest artists who present contemporary and crossover works. Concerts take place at the Hult Center, UO's Beall Concert Hall, and other venues across Eugene and Oregon. Enjoy a broad range of diversity in musical selections, workshops, seminars, educational opportunities and free community event. LANE COUNTY FAIR
July 23 - July 27, 2025
Excellent family fun, concerts, carnival rides, games and entertainment. All types of carnival rides will be at the fair, including a large Ferris Wheel to give you a bird's eye view of the fairgrounds and Eugene. Enjoy favorite food vendors with classic fair fare such as elephant ears, cotton candy, barbecue and so much ice cream. Browse the animal barns, agricultural exhibits, arts and crafts and commercial vendors. For over a century, Oaks Amusement Park has been the place to go in Portland, Oregon for good, old-fashioned fun. Located just 3.5 miles south of downtown Portland, the park opened in May of 1905 and is one of the oldest continually operating amusement parks in the country.
